Ramanujan Mathematics Club
Overview
The Ramanujan Mathematics Club of NPSBCET is a student-driven club established to encourage interest in mathematics and provide a platform for students to engage in mathematical activities beyond the classroom. The club brings together students from various disciplines to participate in academic and co-curricular events that promote mathematical learning, creativity, and collaboration
Objectives
- To remove mathematics phobia among students.
- To help improve the proper utilization of leisure time.
- To arouse and maintain students’ interest in mathematics.
- To raise the confidence level of students in using mathematics.
- To analyze and solve problems both in college and in real-life situations.
- To help students explore and enjoy the beauty and power of mathematics.
- To acquire a clear perspective of the nature of mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Organizing inter-class, inter-college competitions on interesting mathematical topics.
- Arranging lectures by renowned mathematics teachers and scholars.
- Celebrating important days and events related to the history of mathematics and eminent mathematicians.
- Preparing and displaying mathematics charts, models, pictures, and graphs for classroom and club activities.
- Organizing seminars and career guidance programmes related to mathematics
