ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering & Technology, an Autonomous Institution and Affiliated to Anna University, is sponsored by Tmt. Abaranjee Ammal Educational Society (Regd.). The aim of the college is to ensure an all sided development of the student and to offer many co-curricular and extra-curricular activities towards this end. The journey from a humble beginning to an established educational institution having a constant zeal for development and good work is widely noticed and appreciated. Through high academic standards, college facilitates to create an amicable environment for rural youth to enrich their Capabilities, and to make them responsible citizens by providing Ethical, Moral and Social Values.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), started in 2008, has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty. With its exceptional infrastructure, the department accentuates on sound practical knowledge, while nurturing creativity in the student community. Department of EEE deals with the problems, opportunities and needs of Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Control systems and related industries. This programme uses the concept of Science, Technology, and Problem-solving skills to design, construct, and maintain products, services, and information systems. This programme prepares students for careers as Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Engineering Specialist, Chief Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, Software Engineer, Development Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Research Engineer, Systems Design Engineer, Field Engineer, Test Engineer and Sales Engineer etc. Electrical Engineering serve as a starting point for the careers in many other diversified fields, ranging from Instrumentation Engineering, Energy Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering.

The department has published over 53 journal papers in the past two years. All the faculty and students have the possibility to participate in the research activity through their internally constructed Project Lab, Industry Supported Lab and Research Lab, publish the papers in refereed journals/conferences. The students are provided with opportunities for the training program of reputed industries, professional societies, research organizations and academic universities. The Institution is strategically supporting the industry interaction with Electrical and Electronics industries, that will bring more opportunities to the students.

It has signed MoU with top industries like Retech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Tessolve Semiconductors Ltd., Goodwin motors, eDGIM Research Pvt Ltd, etc., to conduct industry relevant R&D and internships for students. Faculty and students are actively involved in innovative, sponsored research projects. The major R&D projects for funding applied to the government organizations such as AICTE, DST-SERB and MNRE. The expertise of the faculty is also reflected with the good number of Patents being filed.

Our objectives are to use the above experience to perform collaborative research with industry and to improve student outcome through teaching, research, development and training in the emerging technologies.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The International Conference on Power Conversion, Smart Grid and Energy Systems (ICPCES-2026) will be held on 10 March 2026, organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering and Technology (NPSBCET), Chennai, India. The conference aims to provide an international platform for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to exchange knowledge, present innovative research outcomes, and discuss emerging challenges in modern power and energy systems.

ICPCES-2026 focuses on recent advancements in power conversion technologies, smart grid infrastructure, renewable energy integration, energy storage systems, and sustainable energy solutions. With the rapid transformation of conventional power systems toward intelligent, digital, and decentralized networks, the conference seeks to highlight cutting-edge research that addresses efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in future energy systems.

The conference will feature keynote addresses by eminent experts, technical paper presentations, and interactive sessions that encourage collaboration between academia and industry. All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure high technical quality.

ICPCES-2026 aspires to foster innovation, promote interdisciplinary research, and contribute to the development of smart and sustainable energy technologies that meet global energy demands.

Prospective authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research articles and case studies aligned with the conference themes.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  1. Use only IEEE standard two column conference paper template.
  2. The maximum length of the paper for review is 4-6 pages including references. The maximum File Size allowed is 10 MB in PDF format without encryption and/or passwords.
  3. Accepted papers should be revised according to the review comments in order to proceed to the further registration step.
  4. All the accepted paper will be published in ISBN Proceedings.
  5. Based on the author’s request, the selected high-quality paper will be published in Scopus Indexed Journals / Book Chapters on payment of additional charges.
  6. Authors are responsible for corrections and payment of publication charges as per the guidelines of the journal.
  7. All accepted papers should be presented and authors of accepted papers cannot be changed.
